A few things that i learned while studying in the Dreamscapes Academy w Sanyu Estelle, Tara Rin Burke, and Felix:

  • you don't need to make sense of your dreams. especially right upon rising. instead, trust that you've received from it what you need, that you've remembered whats meant to be remembered

  • if you are feeling called to begin documenting your dreams (writing, drawing, audio/video recording), try doing so in the first person/present tense. instead of "in my dream i was walking down a street made of candy canes" try "i am walking down a street made of candy canes"

  • as you build a habit of documenting your dreams, you will notice the spaces that show up repeatedly in your dreamscapes. you may want to start "dream-mapping" - piecing together the different worlds that you move thru in the dream realms

  • if you notice your hands or see yourself writing in your dreams, this is often a sign of lucidity and is an invitation to interact more intentionally with your dreamscape

  • sometimes our dreams really are just our brain trying to process what's happening in the waking world

  • sometimes our dreams take us to alternate timelines, alternate lifetimes

  • it can be helpful to create a dream sanctuary, a place where you envision yourself as you go to sleep, to start all of your dreams from

  • remember that dream interpretation is a praxis that takes practice, like all spiritual modalities
